I wish you to enjoy the real taste of my country. This is the food I grew up with, the food my grandmother prepared for us. These are dishes from my history and my country's history; dishes into which generations of love, care and passion have been poured.
When I came to UK in 1999 I dreamed of building a small piece of Turkey here in Warrington where people could come and experience real Turkish cuisine the way it's meant to be experienced; simple, delicious food in a warm, welcoming restaurant that feels like a home from home.
Iskender is the realisation of that dream.
